Great work :D

In all things that are marvelous, there is something of the nature.

Another excellent work, although it may be a bit too "heavy" for me. The contrast between the calm upper half and the chaotic lower half is a bit too strong for my taste.

I have a hard time critiquing your works. It isn't like I can tell you what you need to work on. Your paintings are just great, colors, composition, you keep pushing yourself. It is nice to hear "KEEP GOING" but just know that each work you do could be considered a legitimate "WORK" by any artist's merits. I keep thinking the only way you can push your work is to start doing representational paintings but with this work and many before it you have proved me wrong. I am constantly intrigued by where your compositions will go next and I anxiously await your latest....this composition I think may be my favorite you have done as of yet.

Thank you for commenting, I appreciate your continued input and support. This is not to everyone's taste perhaps, but an interesting experiment I felt. The contrast is stark, but I like the dichotomy, the play between the two halves.

I value your opinion and comments immensely, they are always articulate and to the point. Thank you for taking the time to comment, it's very helpful for me to see how work which is produced in isolation is perceived and received by others.

Interesting that you should mention representational painting, until 18months ago, that was pretty much all I produced. The move to abstract was a challenge, a push...could I produce something which I was happy with, meaningful in some way, when out of my natural element.

Again, thank you very much.

It works, definitely, but I felt it's a bit more confronting than your other works. The others are "easier" to appreciate. But yeah, that's just my perception of this work.

It is more "in your face" I know! I'm always looking for something new I guess...half the fun is the trying :) Thanks again, appreciate your input as always!

It makes sense that you started in representational paintings.... you already have an eye for composition and I think that is easier to gain with representational compositions. I enjoy your work very much and I feel like I learn from it so I enjoy both seeing what you come up with and analyzing it. I hope you continue to create and I can continue to learn from you even though we have quite different mediums :)
